  • Pixel Expo Act III: WAGIC Games Space

    Join over 150 vendors, game developers and more as over 5,000 gaming and animation fans descend on the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre for the biggest gaming and animation event of the Western Australian calendar.

    This year in the WAGIC Games Space, experience 40+ incredible local games, showcasing the talent and creativity of our homegrown developers.

  • Let's Break Games November

    November 3rd | 1pm - 4.30pm

    Join us at Let's Break Games: Local Developer Playtesting! Dive into the exciting world of in-development games from Western Australia, where you can test out prototypes, discover upcoming releases, and meet the creative minds behind them.

    This event offers a unique chance to experience the latest WA-made games, connect with developers and fellow gamers, and contribute to the future of our thriving industry.

    Suitable for teens and above. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Game Dev Meetup

    Whether you're a seasoned expert or just starting out, come by and connect with fellow creatives at our monthly meetup. It's the perfect opportunity to catch up and have a casual chat about game development.

    All are Welcome!

    Designers, Programmers, Artists, Writers, Animators, Riggers, Modelers, VFX, SFX, Composers, VO Actors, Producers, Bug Testers from games, other arts and adjacent industries.

    Perth Game Dev Meetup is a monthly event, usually on the last Wednesday of the month.

    It’s that time once again, where keen game-makers around the world get together for one glorious weekend of developing; Global Game Jam! Join us at SAE Institute Perth, and team up with folks you know or make new friends to get creative.

    Regardless of skill level, and whether you’re an artist, sound designer, programmer, animator, 3D modeller, level designer, generalist, or any other form of passionate creator – rest assured you will be immersed in an excellent game development experience!

    WA Games Week, first held in 2023, is a celebration of the local games industry, featuring three days of talks, an XR industry event, and a major games festival. In 2025, it's set to be bigger than ever, with exciting new additions on the horizon. Stay tuned for more details coming next year!
